Store History Fred Horch, the founder,
was one of five owners of The Green Store, Inc., a Maine chain of "general stores for the 21st century." In 2006, he
sold his shares back in order to open F.W. Horch Sustainable Goods & Supplies in Brunswick with a
focus on practical products for sustainable living.
