Store History
F.W. Horch Sustainable Goods & Supplies was founded by Fred Horch
in Brunswick, Maine. Fred was working for non-profit environmental groups when he had the
idea for a store that could help people save the planet, by providing products that saved
money, energy, and resources. He bought into The Green Store, Inc. chain
and opened a location in Brunswick. In 2006, Fred sold his shares back in order to launch
F.W. Horch Sustainable Goods & Supplies with a focus on practical products for
sustainable living. Since then, thousands of people have supported our store. We hope
to count you among our satisfied customers, too!
